This is how much I love you:
Oh that's right, I am crocheting for you, for your graduation present. Not my favorite, but the best way to make what you want--so it's worth it!
It's strange...I've known how to crochet for probably six or seven years now, but I always choose knitting when possible. Crochet seems rougher on my wrists, and slower. What's your preference, and why?
Beautiful color. I prefer crocheting but you are right, depending on how one holds their hook/needles it involves a different wrist action.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYes, sometimes I like it as an alternative to knitting, but maybe I just haven't built up the muscles well enough, because crocheting really does a number on my wrists. I probably should do it more than once or twice a year, haha.
I think I knit more, but I picked up crochet much quicker.
ReplyDeleteIt does seem to be relatively easy to learn the basics, but there are so many more variations of crochet stitches and knit ones...would be hard to learn them all! With knitting, it's pretty simple.
DeleteI'm definitely slower at crochet, it just doesn't come as easily or comfortably. The knitting needles are like extentions of my hands, and the stitches just fly by. I really really wanted to do some crochet, and I've started a blanket, but I had some socks to do and I felt so relaxed with my sock knitting in my hands!
ReplyDeleteExactly...knitting just comes more naturally to me!
